Pedro Almeida is the Chef behind O Ato. The 26-year old Chef discovered his love for cuisine early in his life. He worked in several restaurants, after graduating from Escola de Hotelaria do Estoril, and became a member of the team of Chef Miguel Laffan at L’AND Vineyards in 2012, before the restaurant was awarded with a Michelin star in 2013.

Then, Pedro Almeida led the kitchen of Viva Lisboa. Two years later, after accepting the challenge of his friend Chef Miguel Laffan, he became the Executive Chef at Nini Design Centre, Funchal.

Pedro Almeida came back to Lisbon in 2018 to be the Chef of O Ato. By combining his passion for classic Portuguese flavours and Lisbon’s scents with tradition and creativity, Pedro Almeida creates his own modern dishes that reflect his love for Lisbon. Every dish is a modern take on a Portuguese classic.
