TESTIMONIALS
Ate here on our last night in Lisbon, very modern restaurant with up market food and wine, sensible portions. I had the duck and foie gras Starter, my husband the prawn and avocado salad, both really delicious. Main course was lamb for me, sirloin steak for my husband. My only comment is, rather more meat than we expected! Very tender in both cases, with an excellent bottle of Portuguese Pinot Noir. My husband managed the chocolate dessert, I had double espresso. Not the cheapest restaurant, but well worth the money. Beautiful decor inside, with amazing wine storage, all kept at perfect temperature. Takes a lot to impress me, I’m a chef! But this place really did make its mark on me.
Business trip so eating alone, always a risk. Luckily I pre booked OA as I’d walked past earlier and thought it looked small enough for a ‘party of one’ not to feel awkward. I was right. The restaurant was empty when I arrived but the staff were warm and friendly, chatting enthusiastically about the food and ingredients. Not only was the food delicious but all the extras were too, not massive portions but all beautifully executed, no waiting either. Lovely decor, great local wine list. If you want a sophisticated meal in the heart of the tourist tat, which won’t cost a fortune, this is ideal.
We had the prix fixed menu for about 55 euro a person. Each dish was delicious and a Couple were really exemplary. You can also order a la Carte but I would recommend the prix fixe Would definitely come back
